Hello! My name is Becky Langner. This is my fourth year of
teaching in the Denver School District. Last year, I taught fourth grade. I am very excited to teach second grade this year.
Before teaching at Denver, I attended the University of Northern Iowa and received a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood
Education. I also received a minor in Early Childhood Special Education. After college, I worked as an associate in the Schaller-Crestland
Community School District and substituted at many other schools.
I moved to Waterloo in 2005 with my husband Jeremy. We have been married for 4 years. He is an administrative assistant at
West High in Waterloo. He also coaches freshman football and is the head baseball coach there, as well. We have a one year
old son, Matthew. He keeps us very busy. We also have a dog named Bailey. Matthew and Bailey are already great pals.
In our free time, we enjoy attending different sporting events, spending time with friends and family, and participating in
other outdoor activities. I am very happy to be teaching in the Denver Community School District.
This is a very nice community and I look forward to a fun and successful school year!
